TSA agents caught stealing: Labarrius Williams and Josue Gonzalez have been named as the perpetrators in question. They were tasked with inspecting luggage scanned at the airport. The Transportation Security Administration agents, according to a police affidavit, devised a scheme to pilfer cash from carry-ons stored in bins on a conveyor belt, which they then carried out with each other’s assistance.
The surveillance footage from the area showed Williams and Gonzalez standing at the carousel and using it to steal money from the personal possessions of passing individuals. The men shoved their hands into the bags and filled their pockets with cash.
In addition to these two agents who were detained and charged with grand theft in July, Elizabeth Fuster, a third TSA employee, was also charged. Fuster was initially charged with stealing $600 from a pocketbook. However, the matter was ultimately dropped.
