When Does The New Season Of R6 Come Out In August 2023: Following its experimental release on the Rainbow Six Siege test servers earlier this month, the full release of Y8S3: Operation Heavy Mettle is imminent.

In the upcoming season of Rainbow Six Siege, current operators, gadgets, firearms, and more will be modified significantly. The most notable newcomer for the upcoming season will be Ram, a new operator equipped with a deployable BU-GI Auto Breacher, a diminutive tank capable of leaving a path of destruction.

If you can’t wait for the upcoming season of Rainbow Six Siege and the addition of Ram as an operator, you’ll want to know when the new season will be available and when the servers will be taken offline for maintenance. Below is information about when you can anticipate receiving Rainbow Six Siege Y8S3.

When is the new season of R6 released and when does it begin?

The Y8S3: Operation Heavy Mettle update for Rainbow Six Siege will become available on Tuesday, August 29 at 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET / 1 PM UTC / 2 PM BST. At the specified time, servers will be taken offline for approximately 90 minutes as Ubisoft prepares for the release of Y8S3: Operation Heavy Mettle.

During server maintenance, players will be prompted to update to the latest game version. Ubisoft has not yet disclosed the quantities of patches for all platforms.

Notes from the Rainbow Six Siege Y8S3 Patch’s Developers

The Y8S3 patch notes have not been made public by Ubisoft since this article was written. However, a new designer’s notes blog post has detailed what users can expect from the redesign. Continue reading for specifics:

Compatible with both the Deployable shield and the Talon shield

Now that Fuze can use the Cluster Charge on reinforcements, we’ve decided to allow him to use it on both Deployable and Talon Shields. It’s a minor adjustment, but it will have a significant impact on Fuze and Osa’s ability to collaborate, opening up new deployment options for Fuze’s forces. Nonetheless, there is a cost involved. Once the shields have been effectively pierced, the Cluster Charge will shatter them just as it would any other bulletproof glass.

Effective against both the Deployable Shield and the Talon Shield.

If a device can penetrate reinforcements, it should also be able to penetrate Deployable and Talon Shields. This change will not have a significant impact on gameplay. If Mira’s Black Mirror is impervious to the penetrating function of the Argus Camera, then shields are similarly impervious to its destructive power.

Ability Mode is selectable between Sticky (the default) and Bouncy.

Grim’s significant defect is that remote activation of the Hive requires direct visual contact. A new firing mode has been added to this update in order to address this issue. Grim can now choose whether the missile will adhere to or bounce off a surface upon impact. This is in addition to the offseason adjustments and will assist you in implementing the desired outcome.

Reduced the timer for charging electronic devices from 30 to 20 seconds. Increased the number of available mines from eight to nine.

  • The current trend in electronic devices is methodical (impervious to EMP attacks).
  • Primitive damage increased from 0 to 5 strength.
  • The poison’s damage has been increased from 8 to 12hp.
  • The new poison duration has decreased from 2.5 to 2 seconds.
  • Removed the HUD Icon and turned off Cloaking
  • If you step on a GU Mine while already poisoned, the complete damage will be dealt immediately.
  • Updated Y8S3 Content for Rainbow Six Siege, including Feedback on Area of Effect

You will encounter some changes that have veteran players buzzing, so be prepared to join the conversation. Let’s analyse what will transpire.

A new participant has joined the fray, but this is only the beginning. New is also the Player Commendation system. The purpose of this method is to express appreciation for coworkers. A person is deserving of commendation if they have performed admirably or were a valuable team member.

Consider it a virtual thumbs-up. Similar concepts have been presented before. Games including Overwatch and Counter-Strike feature comparable systems. Why trouble? Get the team to converse more and motivated. Let’s discuss Frost right now. Frost is an expert at setting traps.

If you’ve trod on one in the past, you may have suffered serious injuries. Now, however, these hazards will only slow down the player instead of killing them. This change has sparked significant controversy. A subset of Frost’s supporters are concerned that this may diminish his overall efficacy.

A new update, designated “Quick Match 2.0,” has been implemented. Historically, Quick Match was a more informal mode of play. The developers are still making adjustments. They desire a relaxed environment but favour a quick tempo. This implies that matches will be shorter but still pleasurable.

The last operator to receive an increase is an individual named Grim. The objective here is not to increase Grim’s strength, but to enhance his gameplay. If you’ve ever played with or against Grim, be on the lookout. It will make him feel slightly off.
