Lawrence Jones Joins the Morning Show on Fox & Friends
Jones stated, “I am honored to join the cable news legacy Fox News has established with Fox & Friends, the very program on which I made my first national television appearance.” “It is truly a privilege to inform our audience every day and I can’t wait to do so each morning.”

Lawrence Jones is the youngest black co-host in the history of cable news.
From 6 to 9 a.m. on Monday, September 18, 2023, Lawrence Jones and his co-hosts will discuss various topics.
Jones and his co-hosts Steve Doocy, Ainsley Earhardt, and Brian Kilmeade will discuss topics beyond the news and the weather.
They will also discuss athletics and other entertaining topics. Jones will also retain his position as the franchise’s enterprise correspondent.

Lawrence Jones Becomes the Youngest Black Co-Host in the History of Cable News?
Jones made a statement when he was appointed co-host of Fox and Friends. He was proud to be a “part of the cable news legacy” Fox News had created with Fox & Friends, which he referred to as his “first-ever national television experience.”
“It is truly a privilege to inform our audience every day, and I can’t wait to do so each morning,” Lawrence said.
There are not many individuals of color who host Fox News programs during the week. Harris Faulkner presents two hours during the middle of the day, but most of the other hosts on the network are white.
In the interim, both CNN and MSNBC have recently added new positions for individuals from diverse backgrounds. Good news is Fox’s decision to employ people of color for weekday news segments.
Fox News’ senior vice president of morning programming, Gavin Hadden, stated the following about Jones becoming a regular co-host:

In order to make space for a new talk show hosted by Mark Levin, Jones will leave his Saturday night talk show. Lawrence Jones expressed gratitude for the opportunity and noted that Fox & Friends was his first appearance on a major network.
