CalFresh is the state’s version of SNAP, which is the federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program. It helps people and families with low incomes buy healthy food. How to apply for benefits under CalFresh
To apply for CalFresh benefits, you can call the California Department of Social Services (CDSS) at (866) 613-3777 or fill out an application online on the Get CalFresh website.
