F1 Manager 2024 – Your Complete Guide to Racing Success

Even though the game hasn't been officially announced yet, we do know that Frontier has the rights to make F1 business games until at least 2025.

F1 Manager 2024: More than one team could win both titles in 2024, making it one of the best Formula 1 seasons ever. The team managers are getting ready for the long season off the track. How is F1 Manager 2024 going?

Even though the game hasn’t been officially announced yet, we do know that Frontier has the rights to make F1 business games until at least 2025. So, let’s look at what we know so far about F1 Manager 2024!

The real race manager in F1 Manager 2024

For those who don’t want to race in Codemasters’ F1 series but are still interested in the sport, F1 Manager 2024 is the game for you.

You can play as the manager of a Formula 1 team in F1 Manager, which is the original F1 management series. It has approved teams, cars, drivers, and even staff members. These rules also apply to the support races for Formula 2 and Formula 3, which have all of the teams and drivers.

You can now play F1 Manager 2023 with the new Race Moments and Scenarios. Race Moments let players change F1 history during the 2023 season, either to help their favorite drivers win or to stop Max Verstappen from coming in first again.

Scenarios made a number of “what if” situations happen, where things that didn’t seem likely happened. From Haas getting a high score in Las Vegas to Williams winning at Spa, Scenarios are the perfect way for players to get into F1 fiction.

Lineup

From 2023 on, the drivers for each team will stay the same for the first time in Formula 1 history. There will be no changes to the drivers’ list for 2024 because all 20 of them will still be on the grid.

The teams, on the other hand, are not the same. We’ll need to come up with a lot of new team names for 2024 because sponsorships are ending and names are being changed.

Aston Martin has gone by the name Aston Martin Aramco instead of Cognizant. The team is still based at Silverstone. Also, Alfa Romeo is no longer around. The Sauber team has changed its name to Stake F1 Team, which is a much better name than the one that was rumored to be coming at the end of 2023.

The most mysterious thing is who AlphaTauri is now. We haven’t heard for sure what the Italian team’s new name is yet because the Red Bull sister team is changing its name for this year.

Here is a full list of all the teams and drivers we expect to see in F1 Manager 2024:

  • Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez for Red Bull
  • Mercedes: George Russell and Lewis Hamilton
  • Charles Lecerlc and Carlos Sainz drive Ferraris.
  • McLaren: Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris
  • Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll in an Aston Martin
  • This is Alpine: Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon
  • Williams: Logan Sargeant and Alex Albon
  • Yuki Tsunoda and Daniel Ricciardo are AlphaTauri.
  • F1: Nico Hulkenberg and Kevin Magnussen vs. Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu Haas

Parts of circuits

The tracks that show up in F1 Manager 2024 have also been changed very little. After two failed starts in 2022 and 2023, the Shanghai International Circuit will make its F1 Manager debut. This is the only shift in tracks.

The Losail International Circuit and the Las Vegas Street Circuit, two new tracks for 2023, are still on the schedule. Las Vegas is expected to be in the game from the start this year. But there are still big changes coming to the 2024 calendar.

It will be easier for drivers to get to and from races in 2024 because more of them will be held in the same area.

The biggest change is that the Japanese Grand Prix is now held in the spring instead of the fall, so it can fit between the Australian and Chinese Grand Prix. It might not rain at all in Japan over the weekend, which could take away from what makes Suzuka so special.

The Marina Bay Street Circuit in Singapore will also go back to its normal shape after having to be changed because of construction work in 2023. But we haven’t heard anything public about this yet. Some tracks may get small changes to their shape before the 2024 season.

Taking all of that into account, here is the full F1 plan that should be in F1 Manager 2024:

  • Bahrain has the Bahrain International Circuit and Sakhir
  • Saudi Arabia: Circuit of the Corniche in Jeddah
  • Albert Park in Melbourne, Australia
  • Suzuka in Japan
  • Shanghai in China
  • The Miami International Autodrome is in Miami.
  • Imola in Emilia Romagna
  • The Monaco Grand Prix takes place in Monte Carlo.
  • Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal, Canada
  • Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Spain
  • Austria: Spielberg and the Red Bull Ring
  • Great Britain: Silverstone
  • Italy: Hungaroring
  • Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium
  • United Kingdom: Zandvoort
  • Monza in Italy
  • Baku Street Circuit in Azerbaijan
  • Marina Bay Street Circuit in Singapore
  • Circuit of the Americas in the USA
  • The Hermanos Rodriguez in Mexico City
  • Interlagos and Sao Paulo are in Brazil.
  • Las Vegas: Circuit of the Las Vegas Strip
  • Lusail in Qatar and Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi

For F1 Manager 2023, it worked on both new and old systems, and we expect that F1 Manager 2024 will do the same. There’s no reason to switch the series to only current-gen systems since it works well on last-gen ones, unless F1 Manager 2024 gets a new game engine.

Since Unreal Engine 5 is already used in F1 Manager 2023 and there are no plans to change that, we expect things to be the same as last year.

You can also play F1 Manager 2024 on your PC. It will probably stay on Steam and the Epic Games Store. The PC base needs should stay the same as last year since the engine should be the same as in F1 Manager 2023.

Date of release

We don’t have an exact date for when F1 Manager 2024 will come out yet, but we can use times for games that came before it to get an idea.

After being available early on August 25, 2022, F1 Manager 2022 came out on August 30, 2022. F1 Manager 2023 came out on July 31, 2023, with early access starting on July 27, 2023.

Based on those dates, we think F1 Manager 2024 will come out in late July or early August, with early access for players who buy the game for about five days.

History could also help us figure out the exact date we want to pick. The first days of F1 Manager 2022 and 2023 both happened on the same weekend as the Belgian Grand Prix. F1 will be at Spa from July 26th to July 28th, 2024, so F1 Manager 2024 should be out by the week beginning July 29th.
