Messi’s Super Bowl Debut: Set to appear in Michelob Ultra ad

Lionel Messi, the highest football award winner, will be featured in a Michelob Ultra Super Bowl commercial, featuring him ordering a beer at a pub and being shocked when the tap stops running.

Messi’s Super Bowl Debut: The highest award in football has been won by Lionel Messi. Now he will be a part of the greatest day in football. A Michelob Ultra Super Bowl commercial will feature the World Cup winner and Inter Miami star. Messi approaches a pub and orders a beer, only to be shocked when the tap stops.

It will be Messi’s first Super Bowl ad and broadens his enormous global and American advertising reach. The game is in Las Vegas on February 11.

In 2020, he partnered with Anheuser-Busch, the parent firm of Michelob Ultra. A portion of the beer’s substantial soccer investment is the Super Bowl spot. The company plays the commercial when they announce themselves as the worldwide beer sponsor of the Copa America this summer.

Messi’s Super Bowl Debut

Ultra is anticipated to work with the tournament when the men’s World Cup travels to the United States, Canada, and Mexico in 2026, and when Messi and Argentina will try to defend their titles.

Anheuser-Busch often spends millions on Super Bowl advertisements; the 30-second spot for this year’s game was asking as much as $7 million, and firms were willing to pay to be on the greatest platform in U.S. advertising and potentially reach over 100 million viewers.

The beverage juggernaut featured a Michelob Ultra commercial with a sports theme in last year’s Super Bowl lineup. The commercial was set at Bushwood Country Club, the made-up country club in the film ‘Caddyshack’, and featured tennis great Serena Williams, Tony Romo, a former quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys and current TV analyst, Jimmy Butler of the Miami Heat, golfer Rickie Fowler, soccer player Alex Morgan and boxer Canelo Alvarez.

Over 800 goals for club and country make Messi one of the best goal scorers of all time. In the most recent World Cup final (2022), Argentina defeated France on penalty kicks, and he scored twice.

People regard Messi as the most successful player in football history. He has won the Champions League four times, won an Olympic gold medal, and contributed to a total of 44 trophy victories.
