Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Kerala are the top five Indian states with the highest number of GI labels.
Tamil Nadu and Karnataka possess the most geographical indication (GI) tags, followed by Kerala (35 GI tags), Uttar Pradesh (34 GI tags), and Maharashtra (31 GI tags).
