Pokémon Scarlet & Violet’s Indigo Disk: Nintendo has disclosed the Indigo Disc DLC’s release date, new Pokémon, pricing, and plot. The new expansion is the second addition to the Generation 9 Nintendo Switch titles, following the September 13 release of the Teal Mask DLC.
Indigo Disc transports players to Blueberry Academy, a sister institution to Scarlet, Violet, Naranja, and Uva Academies. This journey will reveal returning creatures from previous generations as well as brand-new Pokémon from Generation 9.
This contains two Legendary Paradox creatures, as well as new Pokémon evolutions and other features. The Indigo Disc DLC for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet will include new Pokémon, maps, and a new narrative about the Hidden Treasure of Area Zero, hence its name.
Paldea will be explorable once Generation 9 has added content to the primary region. The Indigo Disc is end-game content; therefore, the base game and Teal Mask’s primary stories must be completed before beginning it.
Pokémon Scarlet & Violet: Indigo Disk Release Date
The product’s launch window suggests expansion is imminent. The Pokémon Scarlet and Violet: The Indigo Disc DLC will be issued in Winter 2023, as previously announced by Nintendo. The date is undetermined.
According to the company’s distribution window, the DLC will be available in December, when the season begins. If not, the expansion may launch in January or February 2023, both Winter months.

The primary new Pokémon is introduced by the Indigo Disc DLC for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. The first new creature introduced by the expansion is The Indigo Disk’s Legendary Pokémon. Terapagos is a topic a little understood.
Teal Mask Release Date: New Legendary Pokemon Unveiled!
What’s New?
The creature will possess two distinct forms. Its Normal Forme is a turtle-like Pokémon with crystals embedded in its of its body. Terapagos’s second, rarer Terastal form consists of a full carapace, with each pentagon representing one of the 18 Pokémon types. This second type has a tail that flows.
The basic game’s logs imply that a creature like Terapagos is related to Paldea’s Terastal phenomenon; therefore, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s Indigo Disc DLC may disclose the origin of the strange crystal-like forms.
Terapagos is one of the Gen 9 titles for the Nintendo Switch. The official Pokémon YouTube channel hosted a Pokémon Presents livestream on August 8, revealing a number of new Pokémon from previous generations that will be featured on The Indigo Disc.
Archaludon was revealed as a new Pokémon in Scarlet and Violet’s Indigo Disc DLC at Pokémon Presents. This novel creature evolved from Gen 8’s Duraludon.
The Pokémon Company subsequently confirmed that Archaludon is a new Steel- and Dragon-type Pokémon and the only creature capable of learning Electro Shot, as shown in the event video. Duraludon resembles a tower, whereas Archaludon resembles a bridge when it is on all fours.
Unlike the Scarlet and Violet DLCs, the Pokémon Presents teaser revealed at least two new Paradox Pokémon in The Indigo Disc. The first is Raging Bolt, an ancient Paradox creature similar to Raikou from Generation 2.
Although its Type is unknown, Raging Bolt should be Electric like Raikou. Its long neck resembles that of a Brontosaurus, and Walking Wake, an ancient Paradox form for Suicune, resembles a Theropod, so the Jurassic-era motif may have served as inspiration.
Iron Crown is the second Indigo Disc DLC Paradox Pokémon owned by Scarlet and Violet. This beast resembles a Gen 5 Legendary Cobalion from the future. As suggested by Cobalion’s type, the Iron Crown should be of the Steel type, while its secondary type is undetermined.
Its design resembles an automaton, similar to the Cobalion mecha. The Swords of Justice feature Iron Leaves, a futuristic Paradox Pokémon based on Gen 5 Legendary Virizion.
