DU Admissions 2023 update: The Delhi University (DU) has announced the release date of first seat allocation list. Candidates should keep in mind that DU will release the first seat allocation list release at 5 pm on August 2, 2023. Students can view their allotted course and college at the official DU website — du.ac.in.
Candidates, who have already registered, will have an opportunity to make changes to their profiles from 10 am on July 26 to 4:59 pm on July 28.
The candidate can only change information in the fields that correspond to the amount of the registration fee they have already paid. After making any necessary changes, applicants should click “Submit and Lock” to finalise their submission. If an applicant does not submit any corrections or updates to their application before the Correction Window’s closing date (July 28 at 5 p.m.), their information will be automatically frozen.
Officially, applicants have till 4:59 pm on August 10 to submit their payment in response to the first seat distribution list released by Delhi University. Between August 11 at 5 pm and August 12 at 5 pm, candidates will get a chance to upgrade.
The second seating allocation list will be available online on the official website from August 14, 2023 (at 5 pm).
Undergraduate admissions through the University of Delhi’s Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) have been extended till July 26, 2023 (at 4:59 pm). Registration for DU admission 2023 will remain open until July 26 for those who have not yet done so or for those who have finished phase 1 but have not yet filled up their preferences.
Here is what official notification says
In order to prevent the CSAS site from locking students’ previously stored preferences on July 27, 2023 at 5 pm, the university urged students to periodically save their preferences.
“In the correction window, candidates can edit/modify only the fields according to the registration fee equal to or less than that already paid by applicant. Candidates update their profiles and re-upload their updated/ documents and preferences”, reads the official notification.
