Allahabad University PGAT 2023 Exam:
The announcement for admission to Masters in the academic session 2023-24 of Allahabad University was made on Sunday. The Post Graduate Admission Test (PGAT) online application process will begin on April 25. Prof. JK Pati, Director of Admission Cell, released the entire timetable on Sunday. The deadline for registration and application form submission has been set for May 16. Students can register at aupravesh2023.cbtexam.in or by visiting the University website (www.allduniv.ac.in) and clicking on the PGAT-2023 link. The entrance exam is scheduled for the first week of June 2023, with results expected by the last week of June. Admissions counselling for various programmes will begin in the second week of July. Admission will be granted to a total of 9467 PGAT seats (4203 on the university campus and 5264 in constituent colleges). The University is offering an M.Tech course in Materials Science and Technology for the first time through the Centre for Materials Science. In this case, applications will be accepted for 15 seats.
The pattern and technique of the PGAT entrance examination in EVV will remain the same as last year. The PGAT-1 entrance exam will be administered both online and offline. The PGAT-2 and IPS admission exams will be conducted entirely online.
Application Process:

Register yourself by providing the required details such as name, contact information, and email address.
Fill in the application form with accurate personal and academic details.
Upload the necessary documents, including recent passport-sized photographs and signatures, as per the specified guidelines.
Pay the application fee through the available online payment modes.
Review the submitted application form and take a printout for future reference.
For admission to PG programmes, examinations will be held in both modes (offline and online) in a total of seven cities. Prayagraj, Lucknow, Kanpur, Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Bareilly, and New Delhi are all included. Bhopal, Kolkata, Patna, and Thiruvananthapuram would only have an online admission exam.
Admission will be done in 32 courses under PGAT-1
Under PGAT-1 in universities and colleges, admission will be done in 32 courses including LLB, LLM, M.Com, MA. At the same time, under PGAT-2, admission will be conducted in 24 courses including BEd, MEd, MBA, MBARD. Along with this, MCA, MSc Food Technology, Mvoc Media Studies, PGDCA of Institute of Professional Studies are also included under PGAT-2. Applicants are advised to visit the University website for detailed information about the courses.
Entrance exam will be of 300 marks
The maximum marks for PGAT will be 300 for all the courses. In which there will be only 150 multiple choice questions. There will be no negative marking for wrong answer. Applicants will be able to download the admit card one week before the entrance exam. No applicant will be allowed to enter the examination center under any circumstances without valid admit card and original identity card.
