Tezpur University Admission 2022: 4 July 2022 is the last date to apply for Tezpur University Admission to PG courses in sessions 2022-23. The admission process for various UG & PG courses at Tezpur University will be based on the Common Universities Entrance Test (CUET). The last date for online application for CUET PG 2022 is 4 July 2022. All candidates must apply for the entrance exam to be considered for admission to Tezpur University PG Admission. To apply must visit the official CUET portal @cuet.nta.nic.in.

Tezpur University was established in 1994 as a Central University located in Assam. It offers UG and PG-level courses. Students interested in getting admission to the university will have to follow the applicable rules and fulfill all the requirements.

Students are invited to register and apply for UG and PG courses on the university’s official website. Tezpur University has also started the MBA admission 2022 session. They can download the admission forms as well. Students can get admission in Science, Technology, Humanities, MBA, B.Tech, and many other programs. The university will soon release the application form for admission in the 2022 session.

  • We offer integrated programs in BA, B.Sc, MA, M.Sc, M.Com, MA, M.Sc, M.Tech, MTTM, and B.Ed via the online university entrance exam.
  • Admission based upon AIR: JEE Mains scores are used in conjunction with central counseling to determine an applicant’s admission.
  • Admissions: Students who score 80% or higher on their North Eastern (NE) state board exams are offered direct admission to Tezpur University. The applicant must score 85% on the NE state board to be eligible for direct admission to the B.Tech program. M.Tech. Direct admission candidates with GATE certifications are also welcome.
  • Admission to the PhD program requires passing an online test and interview. Only candidates qualified for JRF-NET by the UGC/CSIR need to interview.
  • CAT/ MAT/ GMAT/ CMAT scores are required for MBA applicants. A group discussion and a personal interview are conducted by the institute to finalize the selection of candidates.
  • By paying INR 700 (INR 350 for SC/ST/PWD) through a credit/debit card or Net banking application, a user can fill up an online application form.
  • At Tezpur University, students can get into the university right away to get at least 80% in their North Eastern (NE) state board examinations.
  • Students can apply for direct admission to MTech programs if passed the GATE exam.
  • Applicants for the PhD program must pass both an online test and an interview before they’ve been accepted into the program.
  • To apply for an MBA, students need to score well on one of these tests: the CAT/ GRE/ CMAT.
  • A credit/debit card or net-banking payment of INR 650 (INR 300 for SC/ST/PWD) is required to complete an online application form.

Tezpur University Admission 2022 

The last date to apply for Tezpur University Admission 2022 is 4 July 2022. The university has shortly announce its official notification for admission to all undergraduate, graduate, integrated, and doctoral programs. Admission to Tezpur University will be based on both merit and entrance examinations. Candidates who have performed well in the JEE test are eligible for BTech, while GATE scores are required for MTech.

In the near future, Tezpur University will be accepting applications for UG and PG degrees for the upcoming academic year 2022-23. For UG programs, all applicants must submit their 10+2 mark sheet from their prior program and a completed admission form and fee challan. For any PG course, students must submit their last semester mark sheet from their graduate course of study and the completed admission form.

Tezpur University UG Admission

Tezpur University offers a variety of undergraduate programs including education, business and accounting, science, and the arts. Three-year UG degrees, as well as year-long integrated programs like the B.Sc, B.Ed, BA, and B.Com are offered. Students seeking admission to all of these programs must meet the university’s minimum eligibility requirements and pass the TUEE, a university-sponsored entrance exam. The following are the minimum requirements for each of these courses:

  • B.Tech: Tezpur University will soon start admissions for the B.Tech program. The students who have passed the intermediate in the science stream with an aggregate of 50% marks can apply for admission.
  • B.Sc: Bachelor of Science is a UG level degree program that can be completed in 3 years. The students that have completed their 12th in science with an aggregate of 50% marks will be entitled to get admission in this course.
  • BA: Bachelor of Arts is a UG course offered in various disciplines at Tezpur University. Students who hold a 10+2 of any stream are entitled to get admission to this course.

Tezpur University PG Admission

  • M.Tech: Master of technology is a PG-level engineering course. To get admission to this programme, the students should have got a graduation degree in the same discipline with an aggregate of 45% marks. Besides, students also need to score good merit in GATE.
  • M.Sc: Students are required to have a bachelor’s degree in any of the science subjects with good aggregate marks to get admission to the MSc programme.
  • M.Com: Master of Commerce is a PG level degree programme that can be completed in 2 years. Students interested to get admission in this specific course should have completed their bachelor’s degree in the same discipline.

Tezpur University PhD Admission

The university awards Ph.D. degrees in the School of Engineering, Management, Humanities & Social Sciences, etc. A Master’s degree in a relevant field is the minimum requirement. The university accepts full-time and part-time students. Admission is determined by a written examination followed by an interview. The final decision will be based on academic performance as well as performance in the interview. Candidates who qualify for CSIR/ JRF-NET program need to appear only for the interview round.
