Haryana CET Admit Card 2022: The Common Eligibility Test (CET- NTA Haryana CET Exam Admit Card) for Group-C posts in Haryana will be held on November 5 and 6, with final preparations underway. Its admit card will be available in a few days. Chief Secretary Sanjeev Kaushal provided this information following a video conferencing meeting to review preparedness. He stated in a statement issued here that the CET will be administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA). This exam has 11,36,874 candidates registered for it. Examination centres for the CET examination have been established in 17 districts across the state, including Chandigarh.
The meeting was attended by the District Deputy Commissioner, Superintendent of Police, General Manager of Roadways, Chairman of Haryana Staff Selection Commission, and Secretary of Transport Department. According to the Chief Secretary, examination centres will be assigned at random. This time, however, efforts will be made to place differently-abled candidates in their own district, so that they do not have to travel long distances and are not inconvenienced. Similarly, efforts will be made to ensure that girls are assigned examination centres in their own or neighbouring districts.
A significant change has also been made in order to make the CET exam mock-free and successful, with the answer to the question in the CET exam being added in addition to four options and a fifth option. This fifth option will be written as not-attempted. If a candidate does not select four options for the answer, he or she must select the fifth option. No candidate response may be left blank. In CET, there will be no negative marking. If a candidate fails to complete even the fifth option, 0.95 points will be deducted for each question omitted.
The reason for adding the fifth option was to address a question that had arisen in previous examinations in which some candidates left the answers blank, with the possibility of making a mistake later, but this time due to the mandatory filling of the fifth option, there will be no errors of any kind.
According to the Chief Secretary, the Transport Department has been given special instructions to ensure that the candidates taking the CET are not inconvenienced. A mobile app and portal for bus advance booking will be developed, through which candidates will be able to make advance bookings by obtaining information about buses, time tables, and so on. He stated that this would also aid the Transportation Department in route planning. Each bus stop will also have a help desk. Apart from that, railway cooperation will be sought, and help desks will be established at railway stations.
Accommodation will also be provided for the candidates, according to Kaushal. He directed the District Deputy Commissioners to identify Dharamshalas in their respective districts and coordinate with social and religious institutions to ensure complete arrangements.
