UPSSSC Junior Assistant Recruitment 2022: The application process for the Uttar Pradesh State Subordinate Selection Commission’s Junior Assistant recruitment has begun. Applications for 1262 positions can be submitted online at upsssc.gov.in until December 12. These positions will be filled through the Department of Health and Industrial Development. 1148 positions in the Medical and Health Department and 114 in the Directorate of Promotion of Industries and Enterprises will be filled.
Candidates who have completed their 12th grade and have taken the PET 2021 exam are eligible to apply. Aside from that, Hindi typing speed should be 25 words per minute and English typing speed should be 30 words per minute. DOEC should also have a CCC certificate or an equivalent. The age range has been set at 18 to 40 years.
PET score will be used to shortlist candidates.
Candidates will be shortlisted for the Junior Assistant Recruitment Exam based on their performance in the Preliminary Qualifying Test PET 2021. So, only candidates who took PET-2021 and received a score card can apply online for this exam.
The written test will be the sole basis for selection. There will be no interview.
The written exam will consist of 130 objective type (multiple choice) questions. The paper will be worth 65 points in total. The exam will be divided into three sections. The first section will consist of 60 questions of 30 marks each on Hindi knowledge and writing ability. The second section will consist of a General Intelligence Test. It will consist of 30 15-point questions. The third section will be general knowledge, with 130 questions worth 65 points. The duration of the paper will be one and a half hours. Negative marking will be used. For each incorrect answer, a fourth mark will be deducted.
Candidates who pass the written exam will be called for a typing test. It will be saved to the computer. Only qualifying candidates will take the Typing Test.
Merit
Marks will be assigned to each candidate based on their educational qualifications in the following order:
12th pass – 60% or higher – 20 marks
45 percent and higher – 15 points
10 points for a score of 33% or higher.
Graduation rate of 60% or higher – 10 points for 45 percent or higher – 8 points
33% and higher – 5 points
Players will receive 2 to 5 points depending on their level of play.
Written Exam – 65 Points
Typing – Only qualifying
Educational Qualification – 30 marks, Sports – 2 to 05 marks (35 marks for merit and sports)
Candidates will be called for the Junior Assistant written test based on their PET scores, which will be multiplied by the number of vacancies.
