In 2014, Anand Mahindra co-founded the Pro Kabaddi League with his brother-in-law and sports commentator Charu Sharma.

In 2014, he co-founded with Mukesh Ambani and Mahesh Samat the Indian television channel EPIC. Ambani and Samat sold their shares to Anand Mahindra two years later.
