Career
With the American band Stone Sour, which he and Ekman co-founded, he began his musical career in 1992. They recorded a demo album between 1992 and 1996. Taylor was asked to join the metal band Slipknot in 1997. He took the offer, dumping Stone Sour for the time being. Their self-titled self-debut album was released on August 27, 2002, and it peaked at number 46 on the Billboard 200 chart.
