Career

Psy joined YG Entertainment in 2010 as he started having financial issues and was unable to continue funding his music. The following year, he released his fifth album, “PsyFive.” The hit song “Gangnam Style” was featured on the singer’s sixth album, “Psy 6 (Six Rules), Part 1,” which was published in 2012. “Gangnam Style” peaked at number one on the iTunes Music Video Charts by August of that year.

Due to the popularity of this song, Psy was signed to Scooter Braun’s Schoolboy Records. Psy’s recent global success brought him respect from the United Nations, where he was granted an audience with Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, as well as the 2012 MTV EMA Best Video Award. He is a gifted vocalist who has released nine studio albums. “Psy 9th,” the latest recent, was made available in April 2022. Psy maintains his privacy regarding his personal matters, despite his aspired celebrity and success.
