Tom Latham Biography: Thomas William Latham, who was born on 2 April 1992 in Canterbury, New Zealand, is an international cricketer for the New Zealand national team. The left-handed batsman is an exceptional striker of the ball and wicket-keeper. He has participated in 32 Tests, 54 ODIs, and 12 T20Is to date.
Tom Latham is the son of the former New Zealand cricket player Rod Latham. Having played a significant amount of junior cricket for Canterbury, Tom captained the Canterbury U-19 and A teams during the 2008 season.
He debuted for Canterbury in the 2010-11 Plunket Shield and represented New Zealand at the 2010 ICC U-19 World Cup for Under-19s.

Tom Latham Career
Thomas first rose to prominence in 2012 when he scored 130 runs off 119 deliveries against Wellington in a List A match; he was then selected for the ODI against Zimbabwe. During New Zealand’s tour of Sri Lanka, he scored 86 runs off 63 deliveries and was named the match’s Most Valuable Player for his efforts.
Latham toured the West Indies in June 2014, scoring three half-centuries and a total of 288 runs in three Tests and two Twenty20s. In November 2014, he achieved his first test century against Pakistan by hitting 103 runs.
Tom’s skill with spin bowling was on display during the recent New Zealand tour of India in October 2017, when he scored 103 runs off 102 balls against the feared Indian spinners in an effort to save his team from defeat.
