Will Young Biography: William Alexander Young (born 22 November 1992) is a professional New Zealand cricket batsman who plays for Nottinghamshire after signing from Northamptonshire.
Young led the New Zealand Under-19 cricket team to victory at the 2012 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup.
He made his international debut for the New Zealand cricket team in December 2020 and was a member of the New Zealand team that won the 2019–2021 ICC World Test Championship.

He made his first-class début for Central Districts during the 2011/12 New Zealand domestic cricket season and was appointed team captain in December 2015 at the tender age of 23. Under his leadership, the Central Stags defeated all opponents to win the one-day Ford Trophy in 2016 and the first-class Plunket Shield in 2018. Young decided to resign as captain in order to concentrate on his batting and ensure his inclusion in the New Zealand squad.
