SSDI Payment Schedule for November 2026: Millions of Americans depend on Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) to help pay for their daily needs. People receiving these benefits should check the November 2026 payment schedule because some dates are different from the usual calendar.

The Social Security Administration (SSA) sends payments on different dates depending on the beneficiary’s date of birth and when they started receiving benefits. November also has an early payment because Veterans Day falls on November 11. SSI recipients will also get their November money before the month begins.

Social Security November 2026 Payment Schedule: Check Dates Retirement Benefits

November 2026 SSDI payment dates: When will you get paid?

Most people who started receiving Social Security benefits after April 30, 1997, are paid on the second, third or fourth Wednesday of each month. The payment date is decided by the birth date of the person whose work record is used for the benefits.

There is one change in November. The second Wednesday falls on Veterans Day, November 11, which is a federal holiday. So, the payment for this group will arrive one day earlier. The November 2026 payment dates are:

  • Tuesday, November 10: People born between the 1st and 10th of any month. Their usual payment date is November 11, but it has been moved to the previous working day.
  • Wednesday, November 18: People born between the 11th and 20th of any month.
  • Wednesday, November 25: People born between the 21st and 31st of any month.

These dates cover most SSDI recipients who follow the regular Wednesday payment system. The SSA’s rules say that payments are made on the previous working day when the normal date falls on a federal holiday.

Social Security Benefits vs Wage Growth: What Will Change in 2027?

Some Social Security recipients will be paid on November 3

Not everyone follows the Wednesday payment schedule. People who started receiving Social Security before May 1997 usually get their money on the third day of each month. The same rule applies to people who receive both Social Security and SSI.

For November 2026, this payment is scheduled for Tuesday, November 3. People in this group should check their benefit records to make sure they are following the correct payment schedule.

Why SSI recipients will receive their November payment in October

SSDI and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) are two different programs run by the SSA. SSDI is mainly based on a person’s work history and Social Security contributions. SSI helps people who are aged, blind or disabled and have limited income and resources.

SSI payments usually arrive on the first day of each month. But November 1, 2026, falls on a Sunday. Because of this, the November SSI payment will be sent on Friday, October 30. This is the regular payment for November, not extra money or a bonus. The next SSI payment is scheduled for Tuesday, December 1.
