UP Board 2023: The UP Board exams begin in just a few days. In such a case, the Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education has issued guidelines to ensure that board examinations in the state are fair and free of cheating. Let’s get into the specifics.
According to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s instructions, 50 percent of the invigilators at the examination centres will be from outside, and the teacher of the subject for which the examination is being administered will not be assigned his duty as an invigilator.
In addition, no female student shall be searched by a male invigilator. Simultaneously, the invigilator will not be permitted to use a mobile phone, calculator, or any other electronic device during the examination.
‘There will be two invigilators in each examination hall, while there will be three invigilators in the hall with more than 40 students,’ says Divyakant Shukla, Secretary, Board of Secondary Education.
After every five examination halls, a releaser will be posted. In the absence of the required number of invigilators at an examination centre, secondary teachers will be given priority, followed by primary teachers.”
The guidelines also state that female investigators will be assigned to centres where girl students are examined.
– No teacher will be assigned to a specific examination centre based on his or her request. Where acquaintances and relatives are taking the exam, investigator duty will not be imposed.
– It goes on to say, “In order to maintain the fairness of the examinations, it has been decided that teachers from schools whose students are taking the Council’s High School and Intermediate examinations will not be posted at the centre.” Will travel
– The invigilator will also ensure the confidentiality and security of the question papers, as well as that no copies, mobile phones, calculators, or other electronic devices are brought into the examination hall.
