West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has announced the dates for Class 12 practical exams. West Bengal 12th practical exams will be held between December 5 and December 21, 2022. On November 23, 2022, the board will distribute question papers to schools.
WBCHSE has requested that schools submit hard copies of practical exam results to the relevant regional office between January 2, 2023 and January 10, 2023.
“It should be noted that there is no need for a CC/SPL candidate who has previously passed the examination to appear at the practical examination,” stated an official notification from WBCHSE.
The board also issued guidelines for schools to follow when administering practical exams. The guidelines state that schools must arrange for practical exams in all subjects, including music and physical education, at their own school. Only the subject teacher in charge will conduct the practical exams and grade the answer scripts. If there is no teacher at the school, the exam can be given by a subject teacher from a nearby school.
“In this case, the school authority will apply to the regional office along with the NOC of the headmaster of the nearby school and the consent letter of the subject teacher of the nearby school,” according to the notification. Students must sign their name on the marksheets or they will be marked absent. The examiner’s signature is also required, according to the WBCHSE.
