AISSMS collaborates with CREDAI to tackle water management

AISSMS collaborates with CREDAI:Pune’s AISSMS College of engineering has partnered with CREDAI Maharashtra to address water management-related issues, expand opportunities in this vital field, and train professionals in waste water management. The college and CREDAI recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to address the pressing water and wastewater issues.

Malojiraje Chhatrapati, honorary secretary of the AISSM Society, stated, “Through this collaborative endeavour, we are prepared to drive innovation in water management and meet domestic water management requirements. This partnership represents a significant step forward in addressing critical water issues and paves the way for future efforts in sustainable resource management.”

The courses will consist of four modules, with the longest lasting 45 days, and will train participants to manage water treatment plants, RO plants, and waste water management, among others.

Vidyanand Bedekar, the secretary of CREDAI Maharashtra, stated, “We aim to develop innovative solutions for water management, thereby offering hope for a more sustainable future.”

D. S. Bormane, the college’s principal, stated that candidates who complete this course will be eligible for employment as technicians, supervisors, and other positions, as there is a high demand for such qualified labour in this industry. Certificates will also be awarded to students upon completion of the course. The college will declare the start date of the course shortly.
