Assam HSLC Exam 2024: The Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) has announced that the HSLC Examination 2024 will begin during the first week of February 2024.
The Board has also made modifications to the HSLC Exam for 2024. This time, “OMR document will be introduced for answering objective type questions (50 percent of total marks) worth one mark each in core subjects, namely English (C1), General Mathematics (C2), General Science (C3), and Social Science (C4). There will be one OMR document for each candidate, as the OMR will be personalised, according to an official notice.

The OMR sheet will be provided for fifty percent of the questions, while separate answer scripts comprising sixteen pages will be provided for the remaining fifty questions.
The Board has also published the eligibility requirements for students to participate in the HSLC Examination 2024.
Students who appeared in Unit Test – 1 (except those who did not pass the HSLC Examination 2023), are routinely attending classes, and will appear in subsequent examinations such as Unit Test-II, Half Yearly Examination, and Pre-Board Examination.
The unsuccessful candidates of the HSLC Examination 2023 who were readmitted to Grade X but were unable to participate in Unit Test-II and the Pre-Board Examination.
SEBA has requested that the Inspector of Schools provide all students with advance notice of the 2024 changes to the HSLC examination.
