The Bihar Board of Education has assigned new 11-digit codes to 9200 secondary and higher secondary (9th to 12th) schools throughout the state. The board will now oversee all school activities and procedures under this code. Previously, school codes were ten digits long.
After about 16 years, the school code was changed. When Inter was separated from Secondary in 2007, all Inter schools were coded. The Bihar Board website biharboardonline. bihar. gov. in now has a new code for all schools. This website now includes a link called BSEB New Code. Schools can access their code by clicking on this link. The new school code now includes the English alphabet and numbers. All of the schools’ activities can be viewed online once they receive the new code. Every school activity in the state will be monitored at the same time. Which school has what basic facilities, how many students are there, and so on will all be available with a single click.
11 digit school identification
● The first letter will indicate the level of the school – Secondary, Higher Secondary or both
● There will be information about whether there is a boy, girl or code school in the second one letter school
● The third two characters will mark the subdivision that the school is in.
● Fourth two letter will tell the concerned district
● The last five digits will indicate the government, non-government, welfare and minority school of the school
Schools have 10 days to check for errors
There is no error in the new code given by the board. For this, the board has asked all the schools to investigate within ten days. The concerned schools will verify all the details. In this, if there is any error in the name of the school, category, division, district, etc., the board will be informed.
