Bihar Board has taken strict measures to ensure that fake students are easily identified during the Bihar Board Inter and Matric annual examinations. At each examination centre, students’ attendance sheets will be matched with their admit cards. If any student is in doubt during the matching, a photograph of the student in question will be taken and sent to the Bihar Board. The board will compare the photo to the records. In such a case, only those students will appear in the examination whose photographs appear in every record. The board will distribute its findings to all central superintendents. At the centre, the speculum will be in charge of photo matching. If a bogus student takes the exam and is later caught, the invigilators will be held accountable.
Every year, a large number of Munna Bhai or fake students appear in the Inter and Matric exams. Due to the strictness of the Bihar Board in recent years, a large number of fake students have been caught appearing in the examination. The Bihar Board will be more strict this time around. Each centre will have one invigilator for every 25 candidates. Only after frisking will each candidate be permitted to take the examination.
Bihar Board Inter exams will begin on February 1 and Class X exams will begin on January 14. Practical exams will be held from February 10 to February 20.
