The deputy chief minister explained that a new education policy will be implemented the following year. A committee will be formed to deliberate on this matter. He also stated that the education system in Karnataka is responsible for the success of many of its citizens in the workforce. Siddaramaiah, the chief minister, stated that they need more time to prepare for a new policy and will continue to use the old system until the new one is complete.
The chief minister also stated that each state should determine its own educational policies. They wish to formulate a policy that meets the state’s requirements. They believe that the NEP was created without the states’ input. In a country like India, the chief minister believes that requiring everyone to adhere to identical education regulations would not be effective.
In another meeting, the distribution of laptops to specific student organisations was discussed. The government wishes to aid these pupils’ education. These meetings were attended by numerous influential individuals, including education officials and university administrators.
