CTET is conducted twice a year by the Central Board of Secondary Education. Candidates who will be successful in this exam can use CTET certificate to apply for teaching posts. Question 9: Can I appear in CTET without B.Ed.?
Answer: Yes, B.Ed is not mandatory to apply for CTET exam. However, there is a criteria in which candidates who have completed graduation with minimum 50% marks and having B.Ed degree can appear for CTET exam.

Answer: The result will be released only for those candidates who have crossed the cutoff score set by the board. This year the cutoff score for general category applicants is 60 per cent. While SC/ST/OBC/EWS or any other category candidates need 55 percentile to qualify the exam. If you do not score more than the prescribed cut-off marks, then the result will not be issued to you.
