DU Admission 2022: Following the initial round of seat distribution, Delhi University has extended the deadline for fee payment by one day, to October 25, in order to accommodate more applicants. Previously, October 24th was the deadline for admission fee payments made online.
According to a notification from Vikas Gupta, Registrar, University of Delhi, “on the request of the candidates and in view of the holiday of Diwali, the final date for payment of fees by the candidates has been extended up to 2 PM on Tuesday, October 25, 2022.”
Candidates who don’t pay the entrance price by Tuesday won’t be able to take part in any subsequent Common Seat Allotment System (CSAS) rounds, according to the institution. Only applicants who pay the CSAS Round-I admission price would be given the opportunity to upgrade, he stated.
Registrar Vikas Gupta reported that more over 72,800 applicants out of 80,164 who were offered seats at Delhi University have accepted the college and the programme that have been assigned to them.
But as of Saturday at 8 p.m., only 24,000 people had paid their fees, he told PTI. The available seats will be displayed on Wednesday, according to Delhi University.
Following that, from Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at 10 am to Thursday, October 27, 2022, candidates who were admitted in CSAS Round-I may choose to “Upgrade” and submit their higher priorities, according to the institution. Can order again until 04:59 PM.
For the first time, Delhi University is offering admission to 79 undergraduate programmes across 67 colleges, departments, and centres based on the results of the University Common Entrance Test (CUET). Prior to last year, admittance was determined by a merit list based on class 12 grades.
