DU UG Merit List: Not able to download the merit list? Here are the steps and information about DU UG Merit List: Delhi University to release first undergraduate merit allocation list today.
NEW DELHI: On Tuesday, August 1, 2023, Delhi University will publish the first undergraduate merit allocation list. Based on their rankings on the merit list, the students on this list will be assigned seats. Additionally, St. Stephen’s College has announced that on August 1st, interviews for students from Christian minority groups would start.
The university will use the normalised CUET results issued by the National Testing Agency to determine the merit scores. Candidates must sign in to their Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) dashboard following the release of the allocation list in order to accept any offered seats. The seat must be accepted by August 4 at 5 p.m.
If a candidate receives more than one seat offer in a given round, they must accept and take admission in just that one seat. The provisionally assigned seat will be forfeited if nothing is done, which will be seen as non-acceptance. The applicant will therefore lose their ability to take part in next rounds of CSAS(UG)-2023.

Details on the Merit List
The concerned college will check applicants’ eligibility and any online-uploaded documentation if they accept the seat that has been provisionally allotted to them. By August 5th, the verification procedure must be finished. The deadline for paying fees is August 6 at 5:00 p.m.
The tentatively assigned seat will be deemed cancelled if the admission charge is not paid within the allotted time. As a result, the assigned seat will be forfeited, and the applicant won’t be taken into account for any additional allocation rounds this year. In the event that an application is turned down via the online verification, the college will explain why. Additionally, the candidate must reply online via the dashboard within the allotted time window if a college asks any questions during the online approval procedure.
After paying the cost, students can select between “upgrade” and “freeze” alternatives. The candidate can “freeze” their admissions and will not be taken into consideration for further allocations if they are happy with the seat that has been assigned to them.
The “upgrade” option, on the other hand, enables an accepted applicant to upgrade to a higher preference listed earlier. The candidate can rearrange the programme and college selections using this option. The second merit list is expected to be made public by the institution on August 10.
