Gujarat SEB TET-2 results in 2023: Thursday, the state education authority announced the results of the second Teacher Eligibility Test (TET-2). According to board data, only 15.76%, or 37,450, of the 2.37 million applicants who took the exam passed. Out of a total of 150 marks on the question paper, the remaining 84.24%, or approximately 2 lakh candidates, were unable to obtain the minimum qualifying score of 90 marks for general category candidates, which was set at 150 marks. The minimal score for candidates from reserved categories was 82 out of 150.

TET, which determines eligibility for a teaching position in government institutions, is administered twice per year. TET 1 is required for Class 1-5 teaching positions, while TET 2 is required for Class 6-8. After 2017, TET was administered for the first time in April of this year.
According to the data, 2,84,523 candidates registered for TET-2. Exams were administered in Ahmedabad, Ahmedabad rural, Rajkot, Vadodara, Surat, Gandhinagar, Junagadh, Bhavnagar, and Jamnagar.
On May 3, the state examination authority released the answer keys and invited candidates to submit clarification requests.
Only 22,162 candidates from the general category scored 90 or more points, according to the results. Only one candidate scored 135 out of 150 possible points and dominated the examination.
The notification for the TET examination was issued in October 2022, with the examination scheduled to take place in February or March 2023. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, the examination has been postponed until April 2023.
Candidates who wish to recheck their OMR papers must apply by June 30. To register, candidates must transmit their hall tickets and pay Rs 100.
Mathematical and scientific examinations were passed by those with the highest scores.

Only one candidate achieved above 135 points on a 150-point exam, while 259 candidates scored between 120 and 134 points and 4,316 candidates scored between 105 and 119 points.
