Hindi Week programmes: Aligarh Muslim University’s Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh AMU City School hosted a celebration of Hindi Week with Prof. Shambhu Nath Tiwari (Department of Hindi) serving as the keynote speaker.
Speaking at the event, Prof. Tiwari emphasised that India’s size displays various dialects of Hindi across states from the Northeast to the South, and that this linguistic diversity enhances the beauty of the language. He emphasised the significance of adopting Hindi in its condensed form and continued language study.
Dr. Zulfikar, the programme coordinator, emphasised that as Hindi is our constitution’s official language, it is our responsibility to accept and promote Hindi in its streamlined form. He gave a thorough description of the events that took place during Hindi Week at the school.

The school’s principal, Mr. Syed Tanveer Nabi, encouraged the use of Hindi as the primary language of communication. He claimed that Hindi should be used as the primary language of instruction and that the NEP 2020 is moving in this direction.

At the university’s Paramedical College, Hindi Diwas was also observed, and Dr. Wasil Hasan emphasised the value of Hindi in scientific and technological studies. He spoke about the origins of Hindi Diwas, the growth of Hindi around the world, and strategies for promoting Hindi on a global scale.
On various topics related to the Hindi Diwas, Afeefa Ahmad, Nandini Sharma, Isma Parween, Hina Chaudhary, Zainab Fatima, Sadhna Bhartiya, Shabnoor Fatima, and Anam Shakeel talked.
While Asna Saleem and Adeeba Mirza ran the show, Mrs. Saima Ahsan offered a vote of thanks.
