Agniveer recruitment 2023: The Indian Army has announced major changes to the recruitment process for candidates interested in joining the army under the Agneepath scheme. Candidates must now take an online Common Entrance Examination (CEE), followed by physical fitness and medical exams.
Previously, the recruitment process for Agniveers was conducted in a different order. Candidates were subjected to a physical fitness test first, followed by a medical exam. He had to clear CEE as a final step.

Indian Army CCE Exam Pattern (General Duty)
Passing Marks – 35
Marking Scheme- 2 marks for each correct answer
Negative marking of 0.5 marks for each wrong answer
This is the pattern
General Knowledge – 15 questions will be asked for 30 marks.
General Science – 15 questions will be asked for 30 marks.
Maths – 15 questions of 30 marks will be asked.
Logical Reasoning – 15 questions of 5 marks will be asked.
Indian Army CCE Exam Pattern (Technical)
Passing Marks – 80
Marking Scheme- 4 marks for each correct answer
Negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer

General Knowledge – 10 questions will be asked for 40 marks.
Maths – 15 questions will be asked for 60 marks.
Physics – 15 questions will be asked for 60 marks.
Chemistry – 10 questions will be asked for 40 marks.
Indian Army CCE Exam Pattern (Clerk)
Passing Marks – 80
Marking Scheme- 4 marks for each correct answer
There will be negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer.
Part 1
General Knowledge – 5 questions will be asked for 20 marks.
General Science – 5 questions will be asked for 20 marks.
Maths – 10 questions will be asked for 40 marks.
Computer Science – 5 questions will be asked for 20 marks.
Part 2
General English – 5 questions will be asked for 100 marks.
