IP University makes stellar debut in QS World Rankings 2024: Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University is commemorating its silver jubilee with outstanding national and global academic rankings. The university received a remarkable A+ rating from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) not too long ago. Now, it has entered the prestigious Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World Rankings 2024 for the first time.

According to the QS evaluations, the university is among the top 1500 institutions worldwide. In addition to the traditional indicators of academic reputation, employer reputation, and faculty-student ratio, this year’s rankings also included sustainability, employment outcomes, and an international research network.
The Vice-Chancellor of the university, Padma Shri Prof (Dr.) Mahesh Verma expressed his delight at this extraordinary accomplishment. He emphasised that Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has entered the global QS rankings without ever having appeared in the QS Asia rankings. Among the 439 Asian institutions and 45 Indian universities that made it to the top 1500 worldwide, the university’s inclusion is a noteworthy achievement.
Prof. Verma emphasised that the university has been working assiduously on education, research, and capacity development by forming international partnerships with academia and industry. These partnerships have been instrumental in enhancing the academic performance of the university. With more than 5,070 publications and an impressive h-index of 73, the institution has demonstrated its dedication to advancing academic delivery, policy research, and social welfare.
