CBSE 12th Practical Examinations in 2023: Class 12th Practical Exams 2023 are currently being held by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Meanwhile, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has released a revised schedule for the January session of JEE Mains 2023. At the same time, many schools are concerned that the revised exam date will conflict with the dates of Class 12 Science practicals. Please let us know if the date of the science practical exam coincides with the date of the JEE Mains.
Let us remind you that the NTA announced the dates for the JEE Mains exam in December. Following that, schools were instructed to schedule practicals in accordance with the entrance test schedule.
Here is the updated JEE Mains schedule.
According to the revised JEE Mains schedule, the entrance exams will now be held until February 1. Aside from that, the exam will not be held on January 27. The exam will now be held on January 24, 25, 28, 29, 30, 31, and February 1. On the other hand, the exam will only be given in the second shift on January 28.
CBSE practical exams are being postponed.
Many CBSE schools in North Indian states are finding it difficult to schedule practical examinations due to the current cold wave. Despite the fact that the board has given time from January 1, 2023 to February 15, 2023, most schools have not been able to begin practical examinations until the second week of January.
What if the date of the CBSE practical exam coincides with the date of the JEE Mains 2023?
Students should not be alarmed. They only need to notify their respective schools if their class 12th practical exam clashes with the JEE Mains 2023 exam date. Schools will need to accommodate this by rescheduling practical exams.
Before rescheduling exam dates, schools may require students to submit their admit cards. Let us inform you that the NTA JEE Main Admit Card will most likely be available in a few days.
Skipping the CBSE practical exam in favour of the JEE Mains exam is not an option. To pass, students in class 12 must score at least 33% on both the practical and theory papers.
They will not be given a passing certificate if they fail the practical examination.
