JAC 12th Exam 2023: The Jharkhand Board’s matriculation and intermediate written examinations will begin on March 14. Prior to this, practical and internal assessment work is being completed. Along with the practical and internal assessment of general subjects in matriculation and intermediate, there will be separate vocational practical and assessment. Whereas general subjects will have a practical or internal assessment of 20-30 marks, vocational subjects will have a practical examination and an internal assessment of 50 marks. The Department of School Education and Literacy has given instructions to the Jharkhand Academic Council and the National Skill Development Corporation for this purpose.

According to the Jharkhand Education Project Council, vocational education is taught in the state’s 446 high and plus two schools. Practical evaluation of 50 marks has been prescribed in the annual matriculation-intermediate examination for students enrolling in the vocational education course. Students will receive 17 points for passing. The school will conduct a practical internal assessment worth 20 points in this case. These points will be awarded for the students’ project work and portfolio. At the same time, out of 30 points, 20 must be demonstrated in the skill of the related vocational, while 10 are awarded in the interview.

The Jharkhand Academic Council has given the National Skill Development Corporation, New Delhi, a list of vocational education students taking matriculation and intermediate exams. Simultaneously, on behalf of the National Skill Development Corporation, the evaluators provided by all Sector Skill Councils have been asked to make their marks available to JAC following the students’ practicals. JEPC has also written a letter to the COO of the National Skill Development Corporation, requesting that the Sector Skill Council conduct a practical evaluation of the students. Following evaluation, the results must be uploaded to the JAC portal.
