Prof. Tokeer Ahmad of the Department of Chemistry at Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has been inducted as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC), United Kingdom, for his contributions to Functional Materials for Sustainable Green Hydrogen Energy.
Fellowship in the Royal Society of Chemistry is awarded to professionals who have made exceptional contributions to the field of Chemical Sciences. The admitted Fellows are granted the designation of Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry and suffixed as FRSC. The use of the designatory letters “FRSC” indicates a person’s commitment to the chemical sciences in its entirety. The London newspaper ‘The Times’ will publish the names of newly admitted Fellows. The Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) was founded in 1841 and is the largest organization in Europe dedicated to advancing the chemical sciences. RSC collaborates with industry and academia, advises governments on policy, and promotes the talent, collaboration, innovation, information, and ideas that result in significant advances in the chemical sciences.
