The Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Ministry of the Maharashtra government has declared the launch of an initiative in which one lakh job applicants’ resumes will be designed and written using artificial intelligence in an effort to assist them in obtaining employment.
The initiative was conceived by minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha, according to a statement from the state government.
“Although job seekers are presented with favorable employment prospects, they frequently encounter initial round rejections as a result of their inadequate resumes.”
The minister has decided to provide digital resumes to young people with the assistance of artificial intelligence in order to address this issue,” the statement continued.
It added that by simply answering a few straightforward questions and sending a “Hello” message to 8655826684 on WhatsApp, lakhs of young people in the state will have access to flawless, high-quality resumes in a matter of minutes. The state government intends to coordinate a total of 280 job fairs in pursuit of this objective. There are also intentions to coordinate similar employment fairs in the future.
It was stated that while the youth of the state attempt to benefit from the recruitment process by attending such job fairs, many encounter obstacles due to their inadequate resumes. It was stated that in order to address this issue, Minister Lodha has made the decision to utilize artificial intelligence to provide the youth of Maharashtra with high-quality resumes.
“Digitally generated resumes will prove beneficial in facilitating employment opportunities for the youth residing in Maharashtra.” “This service will be accessible to over one lakh young people as a result of this initiative,” the statement continued.
