NEET PG 2023 Round 3 Allotment Result:The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has not yet announced the result of round 3 counselling seat allocation for the National Eligibility-cum Entrance Test – postgraduate (NEET PG 2023). NEET PG aspirants have taken to social media platform X to beseech that MCC notify students if the result announcement is delayed.
The delay in the round 3 counselling results coincides with the rising demand to lower the NEET PG cut-off score for 2023 in order to fill the vacant seats. The Indian Medical Association (IMA) and the United Doctors’ Front Association (UDFA) have written to Union health minister Mansukh Mandaviya and the National Medical Council (NMC) requesting a reduction in the qualifying cutoffs.

The IMA has requested a 30 percent reduction in the cut-off percentile in order to occupy seats in both clinical and non-clinical branches. Some students have urged the commission to lower the cut-off by 10 to 15 points.
On X, meanwhile, a hoax update titled ‘NEET PG cut-offs 2023 reduced’ is proliferating. On their respective websites, neither the National Board of Examinations (NBE) nor the National Medical Council (NMC) have announced a reduction in the NEET PG cut-off.
According to the most recent information regarding NEET PG round 3 counselling, the MCC has announced 25 newly added seats and 13,245 virtual vacancies for the ongoing round.
