Online registration of students for diploma courses in engineering: With the announcement of class 10 results from state and non-state exams, the Maharashtra Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) has launched a web portal for class 10 graduates seeking admission to diploma courses in engineering and technology.

On June 1, the online registration of students on the portal commenced. In addition to traditional engineering courses such as civil, electrical, mechanical, and computer science, over 2,500 seats are available for new courses such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Mechatronics; Automation and Robotics, Cloud Computing and Big Data Technologies, Cloud Computing and Big Data, and Internet of Things (IoT). The procedure of registration will continue until June 21.
Diploma recipients will be eligible for direct second-year admission to engineering degree programmes.
BankEdge, a private academy for banking and finance, has introduced a three-year programme called ‘Finstream’ for students who have completed class 12 and are seeking a vocation in the banking and finance industry.
Students can pursue graduation in all disciplines simultaneously. Santosh Joshi, chief executive officer of BankEdge, stated that families exert a great deal of pressure on graduates to pursue employment. Students completing this course will be prepared for the employment market in addition to graduating.”
