Final year students of various courses at the Women’s College, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) were groomed to build confidence they need to be in complete charge of their life in formal and informal circumstances in the recently held ‘Personality Development and Employability Workshop’ of the General Training and Placement Office.
“I am sure that the experience of participation in this workshop has maximized the potential of students to excel as the training imparted to them was aimed at enhancing their general as well as unique traits”, said Prof Naima Khatoon (Prinicpal, Women’s College).
Dr Mansoor Alam Siddiqui (Training and Placement Officer, Women’s College) pointed out that the Women’s College students have immense potential and special workshop trainings to fine-tune their skills will immensely help in their career growth.
Dr Muzamil Mushtaq pressed for the necessity to hone personality development skills along with a strong knowledge base of core subject areas.
Saad Hameed (General Training and Placement Officer) urged students to focus on goals and aspirations with improvements in personality development and soft skills.
Dr Mohammad Nazim shared tips on designing attractive CVs according to the job description and employer recruitments.
Dr Mohd Arif Khan gave a presentation on personal interviews.
