Ramesh hospital announces special scheme on 35th anniversary: To commemorate its 35th anniversary, the renowned healthcare facility Aster Ramesh Hospitals announced the “Arogya Bhagyam” programme.
On Monday, hospital group managing director and chief cardiologist Dr. Ramesh Babu Pothineni told the media that they would offer a 25 percent discount on all in-patient and out-patient services for those with a Rs.300 Arogya Bhagyam health card.

He stated that they established the first cardiac hospital in the city of Vijayawada on August 15, 1988 with only six beds, which increased to 750 beds by its 35th anniversary. He stated that their institutions have been providing Andhra Pradesh residents with affordable superspecialty healthcare services. Since its founding, he stated, the hospital has provided medical care of international standards to more than 20 million patients.
Dr. Ramesh Babu stated that, in collaboration with Aster DM Healthcare, the facility will be expanded by 800 beds within the next two years. In Vijayawada, 400 beds will be added to a new Cancer care, organ transplant, and multi-super specialty hospital, according to Dr. Ramesh Babu. Beginning this month, inpatient and outpatient services will be provided in the areas surrounding Nalluri Nursing Home in Ongole, Bhimavaram Hospitals in Bhimavaram, and Amaravati Hospital in Tiruvuru. He stated that cancer treatment services will soon be available at all three hospitals in Vijayawada.
“In order to monitor the condition of patients in various areas around the clock, ultramodern cameras have been installed in a central command station called Cloud Docs. All hospitals receive Tele ICU, Tele Emergency Room, Tele Ambulance, and Quality Services, according to Dr. Ramesh Babu. As part of their social responsibility, they have trained over one lakh individuals in Basic Life Support (BLS) to save themselves and others.
