West Bengal Board Issues 2023 Holiday Schedule: The West Bengal Board issued the 2023 holiday schedule in the new year. During Durga Puja, there will be the most school holidays in this state. Summer vacation will last only ten days. The board has directed that the number of holidays not exceed 65. The holidays differ depending on the geographical conditions of different districts and the regional festivals.

July 29: Muharram (Saturday)

August 15: Independence Day

August 30: Raksha Bandhan, Wednesday

September 6: Janmashtami, Wednesday

September 29: Fatwa Dhwaj Dharma (Thursday)

October 2: Gandhi Jayanti (Monday)

October 14 to November 16 (Durga Puja)

November 15: Birsa Munda Birthday (Wednesday)

November 19: Chhath Puja (Sunday)

November 20: Chhath Puja Additional Holiday (Monday)

November 27: Guru Nanak Birthday (Monday)

December 25: Christmas (Monday).
