
UGC Fellowships 2022: The University Grants Commission (UGC) has invited applications from eligible candidates for the recently launched 5 fellowships and research grants. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for this scheme of UGC by visiting the Commission’s website frg.ugc.ac.in and apply online. The commission has said that offline applications will not be accepted under any circumstances.
UGC’s application eligibility and guidelines for these fellowships and research grants are available on the UGC website.
Five new schemes of UGC have been launched on 5th September 2022 on the occasion of Teacher’s Day which are as follows – Dr. S. Radhakrishnan UGC Post Doctoral Fellowship, Dr. DS Kothari Research Grant for recently recruited faculty members, In-service Research Grant for Faculty Members, Fellowship for Retired Faculty Members and Savitribai Jyotirao Phule Fellowship (SJSGC) for Single Girl Child.
UGC Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar had told PTI, “On the occasion of Teacher’s Day, the UGC is announcing several research schemes which will benefit higher educational institutions across the country.”
