UPSSSC Lekhpan Exam 2022: During the Lekhpal recruitment exam, there was a fierce uproar in Chetna Inter College, Kareli in Prayagraj on Sunday for copying a female candidate. A scuffle broke out between the women’s room inspectors on the allegation of copying. After this, the examinees of the center came out on the road and started creating ruckus. The photo of the woman candidate having pasted slips of answers on the admit card also went viral on social media. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, the DM has asked ADM City and SP City to investigate.
Chetna Inter College, Kareli was made the center of Lekhpal recruitment examination. During the examination which lasted from 10 am to 12 am, in room number 12, a candidate found a female candidate cheating. When she protested, a lady’s room inspector tried to pacify the matter. Meanwhile, the second room inspector accused him of giving the slip. On this matter, the debate between the two women room inspectors escalated. It is being told that a scuffle broke out between the two. Meanwhile, the examinees took the admit card of the copying candidate. A copy of the slip was attached with the admit card. Angry examinees started a ruckus and raised slogans. The examinees Kaushal Kumar Prajapati, Rahul Singh, Shiv Pratap Kuwaha, Ram Pratap Pandey made a written complaint to the police and administration officials.
Candidates also alleged
The examinees alleged that in room number one, a female examinee saw a room invigilator packing blank OMR sheets. On protesting, the room inspector told him to cut it, when there was a protest, the room inspector went on the other side and packed it after filling the OMR sheet.
District Magistrate Sanjay Kumar Khatri said that on receiving the complaint of the matter, ADM City has been asked to investigate. It is confirmed from the CCTV footage there that copying was being done. Action will be taken only after the final report is received.
Munnabhai arrested in Bareilly:
On Sunday, STF arrested ‘Munna Bhai’ in the Government Girls Inter College of Civil Lines, Bareilly in the Lekhpal recruitment examination. He was taking the exam instead of the other. A case of cheating and forgery has been registered against the accused in Kotwali. STF Inspector Ajay Pal Singh said that in GGIC, Rajiv Kumar Paswan, a resident of Nalanda Bihar, was taking the examination at the place of candidate Rinku of Rampur. The STF team checked the admit cards of all the candidates by running a campaign with the Kotwali police. The admit card of a candidate in room number 4 of GGIC did not match with the photo of the admit card. During strict interrogation, the fake candidate told that he had come from Nalanda, Bihar to take the examination in place of the candidate residing in Rampur.
