In the instructions issued regarding the strategy for the production and use of coarse grains in the context of the International Nutritious Grains Year-2023, the Department of Horticulture and Food Processing was asked to prioritise the establishment of coarse grain processing units.
The Agriculture Marketing Department has been tasked with securing locations for the sale of coarse grains and their products in various mandis throughout the state.
