Netflix’s 2023 Horror Flick: The Scariest Since The Exorcist?
The dreadful film, which debuted in theaters on July 28th, last summer, will soon be accessible for viewing from the convenience and security of our sofas. View the trailer at this link:
After drawing comparisons to The Exorcist, a 1973 supernatural horror film that is arguably one of the greatest films ever made, it is evident that Talk to Me has significant ground to make up for.
In light of the fact that people are still unable to fall asleep fifty years after its initial release, I would say that was a respectable film.
However, it appears to be living up to the anticipation, as many critics have deemed it “one of the best horror films of all time” and rated it a perfect “ten out of ten.”
The documentary, which was initially released a year ago, centers around Sophie Wilde’s Mia, a 17-year-old girl who is coping with the emotional distance between her father, Max, and the second anniversary of her mother’s death. It was directed by Danny Philippou and Michael Philippou.
She sneaks into a party one evening where the primary attraction is a peculiar embalmed severed hand that is being used to conjure spirits.
Mia engages in the extraterrestrial shenanigans because she is desperate for a diversion as the anniversary of her mother’s death approaches and conjuring spirits has essentially become the newest adolescent party fad.
The hand functions as a direct conduit to spirits; nevertheless, the adolescents are ill-equipped to face the catastrophic repercussions that ensue when they disobey the regulations by maintaining extended contact with the hand.
As the barrier separating our world and the other world disintegrates, Mia becomes entangled in a commotion that is accompanied by a multitude of unsettling supernatural occurrences.
Consider that I am tense at the moment.
