Since then, World AIDS Day has grown into a global event. Every year, people around the world come together to show their support for people living with HIV and to remember those who have died from the disease.

There are now many different ways to get involved in World AIDS Day. Some people choose to wear a red ribbon, which is the official symbol of World AIDS Day. Others may choose to host or attend an event, such as a concert or a candlelight vigil.

No matter how you choose to participate, World AIDS Day is a day to show your support for people living with HIV and to remember those who have lost their battle against the disease.
