JEE Main 2024: The National Testing Agency will release the JEE Main 2024 detailed notification in December 2023. Candidates should check the JEE main website regularly for admission related updates. You must complete Jmonline registration to appear in the exam. Candidates who have appeared or passed PCM subjects class 10 2 exam can appear for IIT JEE Main. For effective preparation, candidates must familiarize themselves with the previous year’s JEE Mains and know the exam pattern. Also, practicing JEE Main tests, sample papers and question papers can greatly improve your preparation. The institution announces the exam date on the official website.

JEE Main 2024 Exam Date

The exam date including schedule of all important events will be released soon on the official website. It is very important for the candidates to be aware of the Exam Date so that they do not miss any important updates related to the exam.

JEE Main 2024 Exam Dates 1st Session

The official JEE Main notification is expected to be released in November 2023 when the prospectus will also be available. From November 2023, candidates can register for JEE Main Session 1. JEE 2024 January session application will be available in December 2023 and candidates can make corrections in their forms within the same month. The admit cards will be released in January 2024, just before the JEE Main exam in January 2024. The result of IIT JEE January session will also be announced in January 2024. It is important that the candidates observe these test dates and be aware of any updates or changes on the official website.

2nd Session

In March 2024, the registration for JEE Main Session 2 (April 2024) will begin and candidates must fill the application form before the specified last date. During the same month, candidates have an opportunity to make corrections in their application form. Moving into the month of April 2024, the IIT JEE 2024 admit cards will be released just before the JEE Mains exam scheduled for the April session. Later in April 2024 NTA JEE Mains 2 Result will be announced. Candidates are advised to follow these dates so that they do not miss any important event related to examination.

JEE Main 2024 Highlights

The Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main) is a national level undergraduate (UG) examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). It is designed for admissions to NITs, IIITs and CFTIs and also serves as a qualifying test for JEE Advanced. The exam consists of two sessions (Preliminary) where Paper-1 is computer based test, Paper-2 consists of computer based mathematics and aptitude test and pen and paper drawing test (B). .Arch). JEE main application mode is online and candidates can access the official online portals at jeemain.nta.nic.in and nta.ac.in for more information and updates.

JEE Main 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility criteria will be published online by the authority and will be updated in the prospectus. These criteria define the conditions that candidates must fulfill in order to participate in the examination. Candidates can check the age requirements, educational requirements, admission criteria and other necessary information to determine their eligibility. Candidates can check the eligibility criteria of the previous years notifications.

Age Limit: There is no age limit.

Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have passed 10 2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board.

Year of Eligibility Exam: Candidates who have passed 10 2 or equivalent exam in 2022, 2023 or appearing in 2024 can appear for exam only.

Number of Qualifying Exam Subjects: Candidates must qualify in 5 subjects: Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational and any other subject.

Admission Criteria for IITs, NITs, IIITs and CFTIs:

B.Tech/B.Arch/B.Plan Admission: Minimum 75% marks (65% SC/ST category candidates) or should be below the top 20 percent in respective tables.

B.Arch admission to institutes other than IIIT, NIT and CFIT: 50% combined marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics 10 2 or equivalent.

JEE Main 2024 Application Form

JEE Main Application Form 2024 will be released online by the authority on the official website soon. NTA has not yet announced the exact date of application form release. Candidates have the option to access and fill the JEE Main Application Form 2024 online. The application process includes registration, form filling, document uploading and application fee payment. Candidates can follow the below steps to apply.

JEE Main Application Form Steps

Registration: To apply candidates must go through the registration process and provide the exact required details. Corrective requests are not accepted, so it is important to be careful during registration.

Form Filling: After the NTA JEE registration process is over, candidates have to fill the application form. They have to provide their personal information, choose the job they want, choose exam cities and submit training.

Upload of Images: After filling the form, candidates have to upload the scanned images of the photograph, signature, address proof of candidate, class certificate and PwD certificate.

Fee Payment: JEE Main application fee can be paid online through credit cards, debit cards, net banking or UPI. After making the payment, a confirmation page will be generated for the online application and candidates must do so.

The application fee will be announced by the national testing agency along with the official notification. Candidates can check the exam fee details below.

Application fee varies with different categories and course combinations. The fee for BE./BTech or BArch or B. Planning is as follows: 

  • Boys: Rs.1000
  • Girls: Rs.800
  • For All: Rs.500

For combinations such as BE./BTech and BArch or BE./BTech and BPlanning or BE./BTech, BArch and BPlanning or BArch and BPlanning the fee is as follows: 

  • Boys: Rs.2000
  • Girls: Rs.1600
  • For All: 1000

JEE Main 2024 Registration Fee for Foreign Exam Centers

The fee of application form varies according to different categories and course combinations as follows:

B.E./B.Tech or B.Arch or B.Planning: 

  • Boys: Rs.3000
  • Girls: Rs.1500
  • For All: Rs.1500

B.E./BTech and BArch or BE./BTech and BPlanning or BE./B.Tech, BArch and B. Engineering or BAarch and Bplanning: 

  • Boys: Rs.6000
  • Girls: Rs.3000
  • For All: Rs.3000

JEE Main 2024 Exam Pattern

Exam will be published online by the authorities. Candidates must go through the information to enter the   exam pattern. Understanding the exam pattern in advance is helpful as it provides information about exam status, JEE Mains exam time, total number of questions, question types and more. Knowing the JEE Mains test pattern will help the candidates to prepare effectively for the exam.

  • (2.4.) You understand that once You leave Our servers, use of any information You provide shall be governed by the privacy policy of the operator of the site used by You.
