Minecraft 1.20 Release Date: After months of speculation and anticipation, the Minecraft 1.20 update has a name, and it’s neither the end, the conflict, nor the desert update. The official name of the update is Minecraft 1.20 Trails and Tales, which corresponds to all of the recently revealed features in Java Snapshots and Bedrock Previews. And now you are fully informed on the subject.
Minecraft 1.20 Release Date: Update 1.20 Trails and Tales
The Minecraft 1.20 update’s official name has been revealed by developers in a YouTube video, putting an end to the community’s wildest speculations. The name of the update includes all new elements, including camels, unique armour trims, the Sniffer (the winner of the Mob Vote 2022), archaeology, and more. It is amusing that the update started as the first unnamed in Minecraft Live 2022 and ended up here.
In addition, the developers’ new strategy of introducing one new feature at a time and developing it in response to community feedback appears to be effective. Thus, based on the current state of affairs, it is highly likely that Minecraft 1.21 and subsequent versions will not have a name until the majority of features have been completed.
When is Minecraft 1.20 Coming Out?
Although a release date has not been determined, the upgrade appears to be nearly complete. The 1.20 update is anticipated to launch on supported platforms by the end of April or later. After additional testing of additional features, the game’s release date can be pushed back to June.
However, the wait for new Minecraft content is not that long. The current game’s overworld will be handled differently in the upcoming game, Minecraft Legends. Do you agree that the Minecraft 1.20 tagline “Trails and Stories” accurately describes the game’s features? Or do you have an alternative plan? Leave us a comment and let us know!
