Warzone Season 6 Patch Notes: To ultimately balance the class, Season 6 enhances other sniper speeds and nerfs the Kastov 762 and Signal 50. Here is everything you need to know about the most recent Warzone update.
Al Bagra Fortress, the primary addition to Warzone Season 5, wasn’t well received by the neighborhood. Players characterized it as the “worst resurgence map in Call of Duty history.” As a result of a “embarrassing” error, the publication date of the map was delayed by a week, and sentiment toward the map deteriorated.
Players criticized Al Bagra Fortress when it eventually went live because it was merely a point of interest on Al Mazrah and because half the circle was frequently submerged in water. In Season 5, Al Mazrah’s player tally was controversially reduced from 150 to 100. According to the developers, the change would “improve matchmaking times, speed up pre-game lobbies, and improve the overall quality of matches.”
As in the case of Al Bagra Fortress, community members opposed the relocation. Season 5 has concluded, so let’s look forward to Season 6.
Season 6 Changes to the Kastov 762 and Signal, and Rank Play
The Kastov 762 has the greatest pick rate of any weapon, according to WZ Ranked, at 31.6%. Moreover, it became abundantly clear during the 2023 World Series of Warzone Global Finals that professional players employ the Signal 50 exclusively in long-distance encounters. Infinity Ward observed both disparities and addressed them in the Season 6 update.
The head, neck, and upper torso damage multiples and close-range damage of the Kastov 762 have been reduced. The damage multipliers for the Signal 50’s neck and upper thorax have also been reduced.
Finally, Ranked Play modifies the deployment fees to make it more difficult to maintain your position once you’ve attained it
